To celebrate our anniversary, we invited six of our Togolese colleagues from the URBIS FOUNDATION TOGO to Germany. We also used this time together to further our knowledge and to spend time together. It is much nicer to see each other in person than to only meet virtually.

To kick off the visit, we started with a workshop in which we focused on our communication and team building. Additionally, we formulated common goals for our future cooperation.

For most of our colleagues it was their first visit to Germany and therefore there was a lot to see and do. Besides the obligatory sightseeing in Munich, we visited the Oktoberfest, and the team was able to get to know the entire foundation family at a big dinner. We also visited the city library and the EineWeltHaus, among other places, to gather inspiration for our work in Sokodé.

After two weeks in Germany, we already had to say goodbye to our colleagues. It were two intensive, great weeks with many impressions. We would have liked to have our colleagues here longer, but we are happy that our two project coordinators will already see the team again in January on their work trip to Togo.
