News The application quota has been reached
Applications can be submitted annually from 01.07. to 30.09. for projects to be funded in the following year. Only the first 40 applications received will be evaluated - and this number has already been reached in 2019! We kindly ask you to not submit any further applications, as they cannot be taken into consideration during the evaluation process. The next possibility to apply for funding is between 01.07.2020 and 30.09.2020.

Uganda project trip
In February, our project coordinator Nina visited our long-standing partner organisation ACSET. (Action for Child Social and Economic Transformation). After years of working together, we were finally able to get to know each other in person. We are currently implementing a major project in the solar sector with the support of Engagement Global.

Visits to Togo in January
At the beginning of the year, Inge and Christian Epp travelled to Togo together with Matthias Schmidt. A few weeks later, our project coordinator Cornelia also travelled there.

Tailoring training successfully completed in Togo
As part of Urbis' social sector, we were able to enable six young women from disadvantaged families who have no access to school education to train as dressmakers. The training ended in September 2023 with the final examination.
